What a difference a day makes!

Okay, or two days!  The custodians/housekeepers are busy at work cleaning our carpets and tile so they are all ready for next year (which is actually later this year–never understood that, 🙂 ).  Here are some pictures of my room today when I went in to take my son to a special summer gym class that is offered by our fabulous “Jim Teacher”.  He is the best!

I think I’ll be able to get back in soon and start setting it all back up. 🙂

Kristen 🙂

So nice that you can go back in the summer. This is the first year in 25 years that we cannot go to our classrooms during the summer. The elem. and middle schools are going to be shut down completely (only open for a team of custodians thT will move around to different schools). The administration that works will have to go to the high school and do their work there….can you imagine how many things they will ned but do not have…They will get to go to pick up things they need during the week but they cannot stay. There are alot of unhappy teachers in this county. You know how pre-planning is…meeting after meting and no time to do all the things we need to get ready. We have been at school just going crazy trying to put up things for cleaning AND trying to reorganize and pitch things like we usually do in the summer!!!
