Moving things around…
I’ve recently moved some things around in my classroom to make room for new things on the walls. I’ve moved my name wall and our anchor charts. Here are some pictures showing what they look like now:
I’m excited because I was able to free up some space on our front board so that I could write our Morning Message on it. I used to use our Big Book easel and it was a pain to have to move all the books and easel pads off and on to write a message, now I can just leave everything where it is!

Hey Kristen,
It looks great. I had to move some things around to make room for our giant igloo—don’t ask…..and it has given me new perspective of the space. I may leave somethings, or go with what I know, but it is nice to mix it up.
We just had our 100th day of school—–I can’t believe how fast Kindergarten flies!!

Do you store all your work stations in your classroom? If so, how do you do that? I have very little storage space in my room and no space available elsewhwere in school. I have been reading both of Debbie Dillar’s books on work stations that you wrote about (love them!) and want to begin using her ideas. I have been following your blog for over a year. It is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and enthusiam.
