The next swap…
I’ve gotten LOTS of e-mails and comments here on the blog letting me know what the next swap should be about (and I’m VERY sorry to those of you who wanted to swap and didn’t get in!!) For the next swap here are some of the ideas that were shared:
science–science activities for a science work station (maybe we could do something seasonal for fall?)
math–activities that directly correlate to a specific standard
sight words–any activities that relate to learning sight words
I will tell you that science and math seem to be the most popular, but we’re going to put it to a vote:
I’m willing to do 20 spots for each topic again and could be talked into opening a second group if the first group fills up…but we probably won’t do another swap until September…I need to get my classroom set up! We go back August 6th!

I’m not exactly sure what I would have to do if I signed up to be included in the next “SWAP”. Could you explain it to me? Thanks for everything Kristen – you are amazing!

Hi Kristen, I am new to your blog and have not begun to view all of the interesting links you have on your site. When you respond to Tracie, could you please explain to me how “swaps” work, too?
Also, our school district has just moved to All Day Kindergarten! We are interested in hearing how kindergarten teachers plan their day/week/teams/lunch/quiet time/instruction/technology, etc… Could you point out where this type of information might best be located on your ? Thank you for this fine resource for all of us who love the “little people” :)…
