’twas the night before Kindergarten! :)

Tomorrow is the big day! I get 26 new little cuties to grow and teach for the next 181 days! I went into school today to finish up some last minute things:

I had to get our calendar up and running on the Promethean Board. Several of my team mates and I sat down to play Kindergarten and work out all the potential bugs! It looks fabulous! 🙂

We also added a new design in our display case. We share it with first grade. Eventually, we will put our kiddos pictures in when they are presented with ‘Attitude’ awards (IB lingo), but we thought it would be fun to put our Kindergarten and first grade pictures in the display until then!

We have a new Specials schedule this year and we rotate through them on a six day color schedule. Because we added an hour to our day this year, we also added time to our specials schedule and the K and 1st kiddos will visit two classes a day for 25 minutes each. Here’s how I’m keeping it all straight. The color of the card indicates the color day we are on. The special on the top of each card is the specials class we go to first and the class on the bottom is where we pick them up from! Confused? Me too! 🙂 I think I’ll figure it out once I’ve tried it once or twice! 🙂
Kristen :).
Happy first day to all of this starting tomorrow! I’ll post some cute Kissing Hand things in the next few days!
