The people over at Common Core State Standards have just released their new Common Core Standards Workbook that has LOADS of activities, worksheets, and posters to help you teach the Common Core Math & Language Arts standards in Kindergarten.

  5. Is the book mostly activities? We are not allowed to use worksheets in our kindergartens. Recording sheets and graphic organizers are ok. I don’t want to spend the money if it is full of worksheets.

    • Hi Jenni,
There are TONS of recording sheets and graphic organizers in this book! There are also lots of whole and small group activity cards, along with cards that are ready for you to use for things like, parts of a story, researching different authors, vocabulary words, etc. I found very few worksheets inside even though the cover says worksheets. 🙂
