3D Shapes
We worked on 3D shapes again this week. We practiced sorting 3D shapes into groups. The children sorted them by faces, edges, and vertices. We also put 2D and 3D shapes into groups based on shape, dimension, and number of faces, edges, and vertices.
We then conducted some tests on our 3D shapes to determine if they rolled, slid, and if they could be stacked on top of one another.
The recording sheet can be found in my March Problem Solving Pack. 🙂

Thank you! Our K teachrs are working hard to make sure we have all the artifacts we need for our Math portfolios. The 3-D investigation is just what I needed. Thanks!
