New Stuff
I’m slowly trying to get things ready for next year…you know the next year that starts in a little over 3 weeks. UGH.Ā I just got the hang of summer! š
I got these tubs at the Target Dollar Spot, but they were $3 each:
I REALLY liked them, so 4 Target stores later, I have 24 of them. š Now…what to do with them?
Well, I initially got them to put my DRA leveled books in that I use in my Guided Reading Groups, so I made labels for them and stuck them on to the boxes with double sticky tape (red line tape).Ā
I made the labels myself and printed them out and laminated them.
You can get the labels here if you’d like them for yourself. š
I’m going with a turquoise and black theme this year, so I decided to make a new word wall set.Ā I created these chalkboard circle labels and then laminated them.Ā I then glued on 15 inches of 7/8 inch ribbon with hot glue to the back of each one.Ā
I will attach them to my board with magnets and place velcro dots on the black ribbon so the kiddos can take the sight words on and off as they need to.Ā
You can get them here if you would like them for yourself. š

Cute! I went to two Targets last night looking for bins but I didn’t find any. Did they have any other colors?

I didn’t see them anymore when I was there yesterday. I got mine at the beginning of June. They also had green and blue. These are very similar to those they have at Lakeshore and Really Good Stuff.

Thanks for your response! I am looking for teal and olive green. I am guessing that Really Good Stuff is going to be my best bet. š

Yeah, I have been to three Targets with no success:( I have some of those, but wanted to update with the green and blues as well. I love what you did with yours!
